So, week two, and I missed Monday. Off the wagon already? Well, yes and no. I had intentions of blogging yesterday, of weaving a tale of magical weekend visits from St Nicholas. Of a happy homey day spent baking biscuits. Christmas tree ones. With green icing. But I didn’t. Instead, yesterday became a day I know I’ll remember forever, yet I wish I could bury
It’s all about me…
Day two, and I’m still here! The above photo is a small insight into my lack of crafting and blogging recently. I’ve spent way too much time in front of my computer, and the polaroid (nifty little toy, it is!) shows the area to the immediate left of my computer. The pink book standing up is my much-loved Adele Basheer art journal. The yellow is
I’m not slacking
Promise! WordPress isn’t letting me upload photos, and they are kind if important in my planned posts. Stay tuned for a barrage once I get it worked out!
What was I saying…
About the creativity of my children? Chubba Bubba is quite the artist, don’t you think?
Advent Blogalong
I’m on tha bandwagon! Inspired by Car, I’ll be joining in the 2009 advent blogalong – one post a day, everyday (weekday minimum, promise!), between now and Christmas. Lots of creating, probably a fair amount of rambling. Follow along if you dare!

A spot of fresh air once the crispness of a spring morning has given way to the dry heat of an early summer day. Chilling out and spending time together. Naps. Naps are
heartbreak in the nest
Silence. After a night of constant waking, and a morning of relentless whinging, the children finally, peacefully slept. The silence is broken only by the excited chatter of a boiling kettle, followed by a soft “thunk”. Mug, sugar, teabag, water. A cloud of milk turns the liquid from deep brown to light amber. She sits, tea by her side, a small (ish) Easter egg
Fun Friday…
We had a blast yesterday. I got the blocks joined for D9P, and the border chosen. And much to the toddlers delight, we baked biscuits. Teddy bear and star and duck and people biscuits. I didn’t do such a great job of ignoring hte housework, but I suppose that’s a plus. Though I still have a massive pile of dirty washing to plow through. Seriously,
Finally…
Ack. Internet died. Not good. But on the upside, my house is clean, I’ve read three books, done a couple of paintings, and am more than halfway through my d9p quilt! I’ll be back with photos and info when I’m a bit more up-to-date!
I won!
