Maybe you know, maybe you don’t, but on the first Saturday of each month, I blog over at And Sew We Craft. Last month, I used it as an excuse to give gelli plate printing a try, and figured I could have a bit of fun with it, and I ended up making a video as part of that post.
Of course, never one to let an idea rest, I decided I might do the occasional video or two. Monday I spent some time prepping and filming and playing and got what I thought was enough footage for two videos, one of which was supposed to be today’s post. But the audio wasn’t great, what with the baby waking from his nap (and letting me know how little he appreciated it) in one clip. Lens focusing noise in most of them. Never fear says I, and off I toddle to record a new lot of audio. Except now the footage doesn’t match and the audio SOUNDS like a voiceover and the night is getting later and in the end I throw my hands up and declare it a failure. FOR NOW. I plan to reshoot this weekend, and then hopefully, all things going according to plan, have a new video for you next week. Ideally, I hope to share a video once a month – the second video I filmed *should* still work, but I’ve promised the content of the first video reasonably soon, so I’ll work on it first.
So that’s my fun little project. What kind of things would you like to see in a crafty type of video, if I was to keep making them?
