bloggers boogie :: how embarrasment.
So there’s been some discussion out and around about music from our teen era. So I guess this is the spot where I ‘fess up to some of my teenage listening habits, some more cringe-worthy than others. Oh dear.
THE IDEA:
Blog up to five songs. Any theme. Any reason. Doesn’t matter. You decide. Or if you have done a music post during the week, add your link as well! The more tunes the merrier. The linky is open from midday Saturday (AEST), for 48 hours.
Not a blogger? Just join in in the comments – link to the video, or even just list your five!
IT WOULD BE NICE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) IF:
You hopped around and commented on some other boogiers blogs.
You linked me in your post (or heck, even grabbed the button). Even linking to the front page is fine if you are wanting to schedule your post in advance.
The button, if you are button-type blogger:

<div align="center"><a href="http://thedovenest.wordpress.com/category/music/" title="Little White Dove"><img src="http://thedovenest.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/button-boogie1.jpg" alt="Little White Dove" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
Oh goodness, Jagged Little Pill was on high rotation in my house – got me through my first ever really messy break up!
Nothing like some Alanis to rock out some teenage angst. I had it on high rotation too.
Everybody – I remember dancing around my room with that. LOL.
Thankfully I’m too old to have Britney on my playlist. LOL
Lucky you. I’m unimpressed with my fifteen year old self at the minute…
Omg I live your mix. Great choices. Little bit of moody Alanis drama and then the awesomeness of boy bands – I even had choreographed dances for these two songs … When I said choreographed I really mean bad repetitive dance moves that I would do in sync with my equal daggy mates. And Britney! Omg. Could only have loved it move if it was hit me baby one more time – who can forget the slutty high school uniform or the bad gym dance scenes. Ah, memories 🙂
Oh the memories of 90s film clips…
I still love all my old music!! My current car cd has 700 80’s songs on it!! Now that’s embarrassing!
I guess we can forgive you, isn’t 80s considered “vintage” these days? So you aren’t embarrassing, you’re a hipster!
I love these 5 songs!! Probably too much!!
