…card making…

Once upon a time I had big plans to keep an actively full tin of handmade cards on hand, so I would always have something when I needed a card. Well, that lasted…approximately two card making sessions. Whoops. The the tin got packed into storage when I was clearing out my craft room to get our house ready for sale and the entire plan got promptly forgotten.

Then, a birthday came around and I was woefully under prepared. In a twist of perfect timing, the kids were away at my folks for the evening, so I was able to collect a few supplies, set myself up at the table, and whip up a cute little card in no time flat.

SUPPLIES USED:
*White A6 card & envelope (cheap shop)
*patterned paper (stashed from a 2012 Lime Tart kit – I’ve previously blogged a page here and a page there)
*Bazzill scallop edge cardstock & polka dot cardstock
*kraft tag (cheap shop)
*red twine from an old Stampin’ Up christmas kit
*fabric leaves from Lime Tart
*Kaisercraft text stamp (my hands down most used stamp – picked it up at spotlight)
*Versamark ink
*stick on pearl bling from the depths of the stash

Welcome!

Hi! I'm Rachel. I love making things & experimenting with new techinques & mediums. I am addicted to pretty paper, and make & sell letterpress stationery. Being creative is my sanity break from the rush of life as a wife, and a mother of four. I do a lot of my creating without shoes. This is the story of where my bare feet & creative heart take me.
