Where I Stand {this week}

Happy Sunday! It’s been a busy old week, though today is looking promising for some down time to sit & cross-stitch & sew. Fun stuf I’ve found wandering barefoot around the internet this week:

 This guide to branding your social media is really handy! Please excuse me while I fall down a rabbit hole of photos & editing.

An interesting read on why the trend of authors donating their prizemoney isn’t always a good thing,

Looking for some last minute gift ideas for Mothers Day next weekend? Angie at GnomeAngel shared a great handmade gifts round up earlier in the week.

We are starting to hit the business end of roadtrip planning, and I’m thinking maybe a little journal like this might be the go?

I’m slowly catching up on my photos for the #myselfiescrapbook challenge. Next step, getting them into an album! I have lots of thoughts about this project, that I hope to share at least some of soon. Keep nagging me until the album is done, ok?

From me – yesterday I was posting about my cross-stitch for And Sew We Craft, and I launched the May pop-up shop release.

Have a fabulous Sunday!

    After not knowing your name for so long on your old page it is really strange to know your name. I am trying to put your name to the image I have of this faceless blogger! Just trying to catch up with you now. As I see your business is busy! Your new web page looks very professional love it. Thanks for all the scrapbooking/smashbooking and creative inspiration on Instagram and here. I really need it. It is my therapy right now while my quilting is more my passion, but sometimes I need the art therapy for my creativity if you get what I mean. Going back to the sewing machine today after a day in the garden yesterday. Have a great barefooted weekend Rachel,
    Jodie
