Advent week two :: blogmas day 14
What a crazy, busy, fun filled week we’ve had! There’s been letters to Santa, and also a visit to make sure he got them and to take our annual Santa photo. There’s been lunches and afternoon tea with friends. Outside projects and inside projects and advent calendars. Games with brothers and with teddies (let the record state that Mikey cheats and Gosig the pupper needs to learn to keep his tongue to himself). There’s been art classes and craft sessions taken over by Giraffey, movie nights and giving tree shopping and silliness and laughter and all the things that make the season magical.

At the half way point, my crazy list of advent projects looks a little like:
Blogalong – I am just one day behind now! I might catch up, I might not, we’ll see how this week develops!
Vlogmas – I have published up to day 12, and have footage to be up to date by tonight hopefully!
Art Journal Advent – I have done four of fourteen pages and plan to do a few catch up sprints this week
December Daily – photos are taken, all I need to do it add the overlays and get them printed.
Instax a Day – on track, mostly. I am not stressing too much about this one, if days get missed then so be it.
Readalong – as of last week I was at eight Christmas books, and have started a couple this week but struggling to get my mojo. I’m hoping to add another one or two to my tally this week
Bible Journaling – catch up underway, four of fourteen prompts complete.
Cross stitch – finally started! I’ll not go anywhere close to finishing before christmas but I’m enjoying picking away at it.
Gnome – Hat finished and about to be blocked today
12 mini paintings – one class of twelve complete
Movie marathon – 2/4 movies watched, and 2/8 christmas episodes from some old fave shows watched.
Other achievements of the week: I made a cute little elf from a kit, we made major progress on a big yard project, and Miss15 and I made and decorated some gingerbread.

You seem to be putting yourself under a lot of pressure to do all theses things. I hope there’s space to relax and just ‘be’ somewhere in the list.
Absolutely there is!! I’m not someone who does well sitting with empty hands, so I’m often multi tasking on different projects. I enjoy the challenge of keeping a range of projects in motion but have definitely learnt to give myself grace to fall behind or catch up when I can….or let a project go when it’s not catching my interest.
