ADVENTure 2025 :: blogmas day one

Every year, I promise myself I will be reasonable in my Advent plans…every year I start adding things to my list from mid October, until I find myself on the first of December with a list into the double digits.

I have somewhat learned my lesson from last year’s peak of FIFTEEN advent projects. Somewhat. I’m down by 20% which…like, if it was grocery prices, we would thing it the best thing ever, wouldn’t we?

(actually no we wouldn’t, there’s enough of the economist still in my to know that’s a bad thing)

This year, I have of course my traditional Advent daily blog along, and returning for a second year, Vlogmas. Then while we are in the traditional aisle, let’s add December Daily, Instax A Day, Readalong, Art Journal Advent and Bible journaling to the list, bringing us to seven artifacts collected. From there, we’ll pop over to novelties, and add a cross stitch, a knitted gnome, Christmas movie marathon, and the twelve paintings of Christmas, and we’re at eleven. For our final stop, we’ll add Camp ADVENTure for the kiddos summer school program which includes daily christmas crafting, and my list is looking full…not so full though I can’t be caught by an impulse add on the way out, with some tatting plans, another bundle of yarn waiting for me at the post office, a few saved cocktails, and whatever else I stumble over along the way…

Hello December, you crazy busy festive month. Let’s finish the year strong with an epic FLOURISH of creative madness
