five fun things for Friday :: blogtober day two
Can you hear that? That is the sound of a clean house, a clear craft desk, and a long weekend loading! It has been a pretty manic couple of weeks, and I am so looking forward to three days of home-time and family-time and a li’l crafty-crafty-time.
Here’s five fun things on my agenda for this weekend

I recently bought a new bobbin lace pattern, and I am so excited to start getting it on the pins. I’m also having a super hard time resisting the tiny christmas ornaments, so there’s a solid chance I might trip over that pattern also.
Mr Barefoot and I have a quick road trip tomorrow to collect Beetle and his scout mates, and we are planning on heading off a little early for a Kmart stop, and also to drop in at his favourite nursery, so I’m looking forward to a cheeky coffee in the sun at the nursery cafe

I’m back into a bit of a reading groove + my Good Pair Days wine box, and I am looking forward to curling up in my egg chair with a book and a bevvie and watching an hour or two go past (ok, that might be optimistic. I’d settle for fifteen minutes, to be honest).
My partner in crime has recently convinced me to watch Alias. I missed it on its initial run, as life in the early 00s was heavy on the work+uni (+later, Mr Barefoot!), and rather light on in the TV watching department. I started last night and am two episodes in and enjoying it so far. I’m about to start the ribbing on my Marble Mount jumper so that will be a good mindless project to keep my hands busy while I am watching!

My girl has some big ideas and a whole lot of crafty mojo, so we’re going to try and film a YouTube video, if this crafty mama can work out how to bring her idea to life, film it, and turn it into an interesting video! Worst case, we’ll have some fun girly crafty time.
Mr Barefoot has just rolled in, Boy2 isn’t far away, and Butterfly is already elbow deep in a project so I think it’s safe to call the weekend open for business! What are you up to this long weekend?

Happy long weekend! I’m in Wales, so just the usual one for me. I’m off to see my daughter at uni on Sunday so that will be lovely. Enjoy your weekend xxx
Have a lovely time visiting your daughter! We were lucky enough to have our uni boy fly home last weekend, it’s so nice to have time with these grown kiddos, isn’t it? Have a fab weekend x
