gift guide for the crafter in your life :: Blogmas day 11
We’re running down to the AusPost delivery deadline, and let me tell you, I’ve been ordering up like its March 2020 and I’m a one woman stimulus package committed to keeping the post office balance sheet in the black. Mostly for the kids, sadly, and not a lot for me. But if I /was/ shopping for me? These are some of the cool things I’ve found while procrastinating on the shopping I should be doing, that I would be chuffed to find under the tree this year (or that I already have and love and think you might enjoy also!)
(please note – some of the below links may be affiliate. If you click these linksand make a purchase, I will earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. I only ever affiliate link to products and places I genuinely use and love. Thank you for supporting my blog!)

FOR THE YARN LOVER
Phone + stitch marker holder ($46) – this looks like such a nifty idea, and would save me from forever losing my stitch markers!
Thread & Maple Mini Binder ($200) – these gorgeous organisers are high on my “want to splurge on” list
The below five are from Say! Little Hen, my go to for excellent service and a great range. Use my referral link here to get a $15 coupon with your first purchase of $50 or more
Cocoknits precious metals stitch makers ($19) – these are my go to stitch markers, great quality and I feel a bit fancy with the shiny metals because I’m a magpie apparently.
Ceramic knit-stitch earrings ($18) – I would be chuffed to find these cuties in my stocking
Interchangeable knitting needle case ($58) – this one is high on my wish list to get all my needles organised
Cocoknits deluxe gift set ($182) – a fab bundle of nifty notions, that I wouldn’t buy myself but would feel so spoilt if someone bought them for me
Sock knitters gift box ($115) – because it’s pretty and socks are my go-to project-on-the-go
FOR THE WEAVER & SPINNER
Card weaving set ($39.90) – a fun and easy way to get into weaving
Boat shuttle bobbin winder ($143) – I added one to my collection and it makes winding so much easier!
Nostepinne ($49.90) – because sometimes getting the ball winder out and set up is a pain in the butt.
Yarn dyeing kit ($66.50) – creating your own yarn colour ways is a great way to personalise a project
FOR THE SEWIST & NEEDLEWORKER
Embroidery kit ($50) – I love a good grab and go set, especially when I’m gifting for someone crafty but aren’t sure what their stash is like
Thread balm ($13.75) – makes hand sewing and embroidery so much easier!
Spring loaded snips ($35 with VIP card) – I’ve used these for over a decade and they are my favourite fine point snips
FOR THE BAKER
Sourdough starter kit ($99) – my bread-obsessed big boy has one of these on the way to level up his baking; after a year of making do with regular stuff, I think he’ll enjoy having a proper sourdough kit.
Cookie decorating kit ($65) plus cutters and stamps ($12 & $28) – one of our Christmas traditions is making stamped bikkies to gift to the grandparents and great-grandmothers, who want nothing as a gift, but appreciate something made by the kiddos. I’m thinking of grabbing the linked stamp for our mothers day hampers too!
FOR THE READER
Kindle stand with remote page turner ($55.99) – this would be amazing for the middle of July when I just want to go goblin mode and bury myself in blankets and not have to move to turn the page on my kindle.
Book light ($18.95) – because physical books deserve to be read at 3am too
Page holders ($10.95) – I’ve been seeing these all over Instagram and they look so handy!
