…gnomes in progress…
Twas two days before Christmas, and all through the house…this crafter was laughing at the very lofty ambition to stitch 12 gnomes in 24 days. Possibly, if it was the only thing I had to do. But there have been outfits to sew and biscuits to bake and rocky road to make and kid craft to manage and blog posts to write. There’s been instax photos to take and bibles to read and art journals to keep up to date. Santa photos to take and brag books to print. And that’s before the many to plan and the groceries to buy and the gifts to wrap and the church services to attend…
So here we are. December 23. Christmas Eve Eve. And I have nowhere near 12. Or even half that.

Two. I have two gnomes. And a third started. If I get some sewing finished today I might be able to stitch a bit this afternoon. There’s 3 vests needing buttonholes, and a pair of shorts to finish. A handful of biscuits still needing decorating, rocky road to chop and pack. Two presents to drop off, and a couple more to wrap. We’re at the pointy end and it’s all about ticking those lists and keeping things moving. TWO SLEEPS!
