sunday snippets

The last month, it feels like a combo of busy and calm…there’s been homeschool renewal and trips to the beach, and there’s been a good solid run of almost-normal weeks. There was rain (finally), and cyclone watches with friends in the firing line. New projects and new motivation and finding my groove. There was the show and a sugar glider rescue and pancakes for Shrove Tuesday and hot cross buns for Ash Wednesday. Last month I was talking about adjusting to life without Eldest living at home, and this month, we are down to days until he’s back in the nest for a whole week; time, just doing its thing as we do the days.
