…sunday snippets…

School break has been and gone in what feels like the fastest week of the entire year. We’ve played a hundred board games, we’ve slept in, we’ve chilled out…the smalls went to my folks and I crafted myself silly. To wrap it all up we have a lovely long weekend and have been enjoying lunch with friends and visits from family and can’t wait to round it all out with a low key day at home tomorrow soaking up the spring sunshine and finishing planting out the veggie garden.
Around here this week, I have been:
READING – Bernard & The Cloth Monkey (Judith Bryan). It’s taking me a little while to get through, but it’s quite an enjoyable read
WATCHING – New Amsterdam season 3 and the start of season 4…after binging up until this point I’m not sure I’m loving the direction of the last few episodes so won’t continue.
LISTENING TO – my teenager explaining the finer intricacies of his new computer game. He’s been saving up his Maccas money for Forza Horizon and he found v4 on sale this week. Must confess I’ve done a lap or two myself when he deigns to allow me a turn…
STARTING – a screen print design for the second time, after my first attempt was stymied by a screen filler spill causing issues I didn’t notice until the first pull. Le sigh.
FINISHING – a T-shirt, and my lockdown 1.0. Look for a video flip through post this week!
PLANNING – so much secret squirrel stuff! I’ve had some really cool meetings via zoom this past week and I can’t wait to share the details with you in the next week or two,
LOVING – Queen’s Gambit. I binged it while the kids were away and it was fabulous
Elsewhere this week, our second podcast episode dropped!! This week, Car and I chat inspiration; how we get ourselves out of a rut and how we bounce off each other and find ourselves with multiple new projects on our hands. You can find Ministry of Crafty Shenanigans on Apple, Spotify, Amazon & Audible, or stream direct from our website at ministryofcraftyshenanigans.com where you can also check out our new podcast blog.
Me side eyeing when you mention planning without me….
Looks like a delightful week! Here’s to a another glorious week of crafting ahead!
Haha except you know all the squirrels, even the secret ones!!
