CURRENTLY

Watching// I’ve just finished Five Bedrooms on Paramount Plus. It’s an Aussie ensemble drama, and I quite enjoyed it. It was well written, the characters weren’t always ideal or likeable – aka, they were human. I enjoyed the concept being a bit different, and while there was a bit of romance it wasn’t central to the story. I’d rate it as “solidly watchable”

Reading// So much on Kindle Unlimited! This week I’ve especially been enjoying working through books by Layla Pine – fluffy Aussie romances that I’ve been knocking over in a night

Listening// to the Bathurst 1000 in the background as I work on a puzzle

Making// a mini quilt for the art piece in the collage above

Feeling// hot! It has been unseasonably warm this week and I am not loving it!

Planning// school for the week ahead – school holidays are done and it’s time for a big last push through to the end of the year

It’s been a little quiet on the crafting front this week, but with birthday season officially done, I’m hoping to ramp things up and get some stuff done! It hasn’t been a complete loss; I’ve read eight books already in October, making an average of two books every three days. Not too shabby – but also not a great time of year to hit a reading hyperfixation instead of a making one! I’m planning some intentional + scheduled craft time this week.
