this week

It’s been a week of revolving projects across the table. My mum very kindly took the children for me on Friday for the express purpose of sewing some clothes for them, so I made a good start on a dress for Butterfly.

This week I’m also over at And Sew We Craft again, this time sharing a step-by-step for how I made the mixed media artwork in that second photo above.

This recipe is high on my “must make ASAP” list.

The Modern Medallion is all over the blogosphere, and I love this vibrant, bold rainbow by GnomeAngel

I have been mad about this quilt since I first saw it on Instagram (anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for Vintage Modern)

Guilty as charged (though the studio not bad at all at the minute, the promise of a child=free day to sew helped me get motivated to get it into sewing condition!)

I really think the children & I need to make this peppermint patty playdough tomorrow (long weekend FTW!)

And this photo, from last night’s #saturdaynightcraftalong Instagram party of @allthestitches making a ripple blanket with the crazy special snowflake stitch I shared last week, totally made my day.
