Where I Stand {this week} {blogtoberfest day 4}

Week two of the school holidays, and the crafty side of things has been a bit quite, beyond a bit of crochet and some stamp carving. I also forgot to factor in a fifteen hour workday when I decided to do this whole “blog every day” thing! So day four and I’m a day behind already. But I will catch up this week.

Things I’m loving around the internet this week:

Kellie’s #31minfor31days mini book challenge is just the kick start I need. Look for a post on this in the next couple of days.

This gorgeous photo on instagram by Clair Bremner has me itching to try encaustic art

Socks were on my list for this winter, but didn’t happen, so that’s for next year, and I’ve bookmarked this invisible cast off tutorial for then.

Beetle is obsessed with “huwwo eeeeggs, mama? Say huwwo eeggs?” at the minute, and I’m thinking a child sized version of this apron is on his Christmas list.

I love seeing cute ways to address mail.

The lovely Sarah is running a Kickstarter for a heirloom recipe videography project. I’m crossing everything that round two might include Australia! I have more about #projectSTIR to share later in the week.

And from me – don’t forget I am running a “12 months of snail mail” challenge, and also my first newsletter is due to go out this week *gulp*

Have a fabulous long weekend my friends!!
