Bloggers Boogie {blog party}

Hellllooooo Saturday, how are you old friend? It’s cold and wet and icky-winter-has-arrived-kind-of-weather here today, the perfect day to hide in the studio and get my craft on, especially with the children having disappeared to the grandparents for the night. If you missed last weeks boogie, hop over to Car and Bee, or check out my list as well. And every good Saturday night needs a recovery party, so I’ll be linking up with Natasha In Oz‘s Sunday blog party tomorrow (full details in the nice but not essential section below)

HOW IT WORKS:

Blog up to five songs between Saturday lunchtime and Sunday lunchtime in your local timezone. Any theme. Any reason. Doesn’t matter. You decide.

Come back and leave a comment to join the fun.

Not a blogger? Just join in in the comments – link to the video, and even just list your five!

I will also be popping up some random clips over on the Facebook page if you are a Facebooky type and looking for some fun.

IT WOULD BE NICE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) IF:

You hopped around and commented on some other boogiers blogs.

You linked me in your post (or heck, even grabbed the button).

You help share the weekend music love over at Natasha In Oz’s Sunday Song.

The button, if you are button-type blogger:

LittleWhiteDove
<div align="center"><a href="http://thedovenest.wordpress.com/category/music/" title="LittleWhiteDove"><img src="http://thedovenest.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/button-boogie1.jpg" alt="LittleWhiteDove" style="border:none;" /></a></div>

So this week, I’ve decided to feature indie artists I have discovered and love. These first three I found via hereinaid, a New York based music blogger.

Tracee Perrin

Eddie Grey

Jon Jonsson

And I found the lovely Jamie McDell through a Facebook friend:

You might recognise Melanie Dyer from The Voice blind auditions.

And because it’s my blog and I’ll break the rules if I want, a bonus 6th video. This next video is the husband of one of my lovely quilty friends.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s boogie selection, and maybe found some new sounds to add to your playlist this week. What’s been playing at your place lately?

{NOTE ON COMMENTING :: wordpress, in their infinite wisdom, have changed their systems, and if your email has ever been associated with a wordpress/gravatar account, it won’t let you comment without logging in. If you are so inclined to comment, but have difficulty, please just add LWD to the start of your email {ie, LWDyouremail@wherever.com}, and I’ll know to remove it should I want to reply by email. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. It bugs me too.}
