Bloggers Boogie :: #reverb12 edition

I’ve signed up with Kat over at I Saw You Dancing for #reverb12 – a month of prompts to blog along with every day. The prompts are open to interpretation, so I plan on blogging a bit, crafting a bit, and today, boogieing a bit, along to the prompts. I have decided I will keep the bloggers boogie running until the end of the year, and then re-assess.

HOW IT WORKS: Blog up to five songs between Saturday lunchtime and Sunday lunchtime in your local timezone. Any theme. Any reason. Doesn’t matter. You decide.

Or if you have done a music post during the week, that’s ok too, join the party as well!

Come back and leave a comment to join the fun, or give this linky a try:

Not a blogger? Just join in in the comments – link to the video, or even just list your five!

IT WOULD BE NICE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL) IF:

You hopped around and commented on some other boogiers blogs.

You linked me in your post (or heck, even grabbed the button). Even linking to the front page is fine if you are wanting to schedule your post in advance.

The button, if you are button-type blogger:

Little White Dove

So, today’s prompt is:

How are you starting this last month of 2012?

Take a moment, close your eyes, take a deep breath and ask yourself the question: how do you feel…

… in your body? in your mind? in your day job? in your creative life? in your heart?

How am I starting December? I am relaxed, encouraged, confident, comfortable and uplifted. I feel creativity and balance in the right measures, I feel contentment and peace. I feel blessed.

I’m still buzzing from quilt camp.So much fun, last Friday night:

A little ditty that I know Miss Bacoon will get a laugh at:

I’m feeling excited about Christmas. This may just be my favourite of favourite carols. Always has been, and I just adore Jewel’s version:

I’m feeling the itch to write. Lauren and Paul’s story has gotten right under my skin, and I am only approximately halfway through weaving the various strands I’ve started, and what I feel are needed to tell the story as I have it in my head. Current word count is just shy of 7.5k, on a story that I had been aiming for 5k-8k in total length! This Train song is one that I think of as “their” song. Nuts, I know.

But above all that feeling, today, physically at least, I feel hot. Brain meltingly, mojo crushingly HOT. Hello first heatwave of the summer.

How about you? How are you feeling coming into December?
