mariners compass mini quilt

Wow. So. Holidays. That was a thing that happened. I got some creative time in during the first week – three pairs of pants sewn, a dress finished and a mini quilt made. the second week was taken up with travel. A big thanks must go to Cate for guest-hosting the Saturday Night Craft-along over on Instagram while I was away. I have to say, I’m loving this mariners compass mini quilt I made for the And Sew We Craft mini quilt series. If you pop over, I’ve have made the templates available for download if you would like to make your own. It was so fun to design and bring together this quilt that I have long wanted to make. I must admist, I’m tempted to make up a full sized one… you know, because I don’t have enough to do. First, I need to get this one hung, and decide on the other bits and bobs I am going to display on that wall with it to finally get the decorating into gear in Butterfly & Beetle’s bedroom.

One my list this week is a book to bind, a quilt to block, some knitting, some crochet, Project Life and lots and lots of housework to try and get back into routine after the holidays. I also need to so some work on another mini-quilt for Gnome Angel’s Sea Breeze quiltalong. How’s your week looking?
