Pencil roll
One of Bear’s little friends has just turned two, and I was at a loss as to what to get him. He is one of these children that has everything. So when I saw some very cute pencil/texta/crayon rolls appearing on a few of the blogs I read, I figured I could kill two birds with one stone – a unique gift, plus the opportunity to use some very cute fabric I’ve been eyeing off for a while! I didn’t use a template, but allowed around 1 inch per pencil, which is just about a perfect fit for the pencils I used. Total size is 15 inches by 8 inches.

Tracey – they are super easy to make, maybe half an hour all up? I’m sure Kaitlyn will love one! My next one will be a hybrid to try & contain all of the toddler’s crayons, pencils & textas… Hmmm, yeah right!
What lovely finds!
I adore The Great Gatsby. It is one of my all time favourite books.
