…all that glitters…

…all that glitters…

As I ran down my list of materials I needed to finish for the “13 Materials” part of my 202020 challenge, I could brainstorm ideas for almost all mediums, but I kept getting stuck on one – glitter. Glitter is a pain to deal with at the best of times, but in a tiny house, the thought made me want to claw my eyeballs out and set my craft supplies on fire. It would end up literally EVERYWHERE.

In one of my recent Spotlight mercy dashes, I stumbled across some glitter hot glue sticks, in Christmas colours. They were on special, which is the best kind of spontaneous supply purchase, so I popped them in my basket for some Christmas crafting with the small folk. We had a play with them last week, and over the weekend, I finally got a chance to pop them up on our back door. They look so cute! They were, however, a pain in the butt to photograph.

We’ve had a slow weekend before the busyness that is the week of Christmas. Most of my major Christmas crafting is wound up, with just sme fun stuff to play with this week. Most of those are just activities to do with the children, so it will be lovely to craft without a deadline. I do need to catch up on some blog posts for Advent blog along – I’ve started falling a bit behind, haven’t I? Four days to go, and I’m ready to dive headfirst into the week ahead.
